Supernatural Food for Thought

Bigfoot Spotted with Unusual Eating ImplementIt's disappointing how the speculation and discussion about the "supernatural" (other than religion) has declined. There was something fun about all of that. Perhaps also because I was a kid in the 1970's, and we were allowed to dream about such things. There was a pretty bad TV program called "Bigfoot and Wild Boy" back then, and my friends and I, already jaded from growing up in Yonkers, would watch it mainly to criticize it and essentially just make fun of it. I still remember that Bigfoot uttered a cry of "Byahbaah!"
We speculated about UFO's and the Bermuda Triangle, almost wishing those things were real. Eventually, it became clear that most of those things were just myths, even though in high school, I had friends who still thought Professional Wrestling was "real".
It seems now that there are just new, more quasi-scientific myths, like people dying from eating peanuts or green tea curing all ailments.
Personally, I prefer to fantasize about Sasquatch flying around the Bermuda Triangle in a spaceship with Elvis, eating peanut butter and bacon with a spork.
